It’s official! Pose season 2 is dropping on this June 12, 2020, on Netflix and we can all breathe easy once again.
Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals’ FX drama, which follows an underground ballroom scene and the predominantly black LGBTQ+ community in ‘80’s New York City. It captivated the masses when it first aired out. Thus, it’snot set to stop anytime soon.

MJ Rodriguez (Blanca Rodriguez – Evangelista), Dominique Jackson (Electra Abundance), Billy Porter (Pray Tell), and Indya Moore (Angel Evangelista) – all featured in the Pose season 2 recently dropped trailer are definitely returning.
In one of the interviews recently, the show-makers announced that Sandra Bernhard would likely to reprise her role as Nurse Judy. in Pose season 2 as series regular.

Besides, Vanity Fair, in a positive review, describes the season as ‘’ Pain and perseverance are sewn together to create something humble yet fabulous—and, it should be shouted over all the show’s loud and glorious clamor, very much long overdue.’’
In similar praise, Vulture lauds the idea of series ambition, aesthetic, and minorities’ saga. The magazine quoted as‘’ it shows American audiences a world that has never been visualized on television at this length and at such an obviously grand budget level.’’
Besides, Pose Season 1 met with subsequently received numerous award nominations including the Golden Globe Award for Best TV Series – Drama. In the same event, the series was lauded with Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – TV Series Drama for Billy Porter.
Billy was also awarded, Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, that made him the first gay black man to be nominated for and win in an Emmy lead acting category.

While the second season has already been released in the United States back in 2019. Now it is prepping to touch Indian shores, and of course UK, on June 12, 2020.
Pose Season 2: What would it be all about?
The story would kick-off in 1990, which gives us a hint, according to Ryan Murphy’s latest revelation that ballroom culture would likely to go mainstream.
Also, the second installment will highlight the story at the backdrop of Madonna’s song Vogue, which was the massive hit of that era.
Pose Season 2 also continues to highlight the AIDS crisis which was prevalent in Newyork’s in the ‘90s. The story about such would revolve around Blanca whose diagnosis would likely to shift from HIV positive to something critical, says the Vox.
Also, the House Of Evangelista would also be given more screen time as their spree of decisions would take a twist in the story.
Most likely, there would be a total of 10 episodes in the second season, where each one would be subsequently titled in relevance to the theme.
