Would there be Mindhunter Season 3? Well, it is yet to be discovered out. The American crime thriller TV series is highly based on a crime book of the same name. It seems fair to assume that any new episodes are a long way from launching the third season. But the production delay is entirely not intended for this Netflix show. After all, almost two years have passed between the releases of season 1 and season 2 of Mindhunter. 

Sadly we don’t have any confirmed news regarding the release of Mindhunter Season 3 yet. So we may have to wait for Netflix or the showrunners for the series to announce its release date or at least any concerning development on its production.

However, the novel Coronavirus raises tension on whether the series will face delays for its release or not. Moreover, we recommend you to wait for an official confirmation from the show-makers or Netflix.

Even if David decides to return quickly to the show, it can happen in the summer of 2021 or perhaps later or if something happens suddenly we can also see it before.

Mindhunter Season 3: The Cast

The lead cast will be again in Mindhunter Season 3 would be FBI agent Jonathan Groff as Holden Ford as and his vice Bill Tench as Holt McCallany. Joe Tuttle could have been back to the psychologist and Greg Smith’s special agent.

The cast members from Mindhunter Season 3 will include the majority of the cast from its previous season. There are chances to see some new faces appear as well. Holden Ford’s real-life Johnny Douglas has continued to work for the FBI and has been working on serial killer cases until 1996.

Mindhunter Season 3 will probably continue through the early 1980s concentrating on other high-profile serial killers from the time including Joseph Paul and Ted Bundy. In addition, we will also know how the FBI applied BSU’s findings.
